Baba Recipe
Babas au rhum (Baba) was once a beloved dessert in the 60s, they disappeared for decades except in the most classic French restaurants. Glad to say, they are now back and as popular as they were before.
Ingredients :
- 200 gr Wheat Flour
- 80 grams of liquid milk
- 5 gr Instant yeast
- 100 gr Eggs
- 5 grams of sugar
- 2.5 gr Salt
- 80 gr Margarine
1. Blend all ingredients together until the dough can be lifted. (the mixture is indeed soft)
2. Weigh each dough weighing 100 grams
3. Round shape, then put it in Baba mold that has been smeared with margarine.
4. Baking at 200 ° C for 30 minutes
5. While warm, soak in vanilla syrup. then dry it
