My dad is a lawyer. That announcement always receives a response out of humans, which I discover hilarious. whether they playfully grimace due to the fact ‘ugh, attorneys are the worst,’ appearance vaguely inspired, or launch in to their favored lawyer funny story- it’s always some thing. It’s now not like telling a person your dad is a trainer or a medical doctor or an electrician, all people feels warm or a minimum of benign towards the ones professions.

many of our longtime family buddies began out as customers of my dad’s. I in no way thought much of that developing up, but now I recognise how cool that really is. i've by no means seen my dad in court- maybe he’s a shark, maybe he’s a tap dancer- however he conducts himself, he should have a few reserve of lawyerly integrity because so many of his buddies are former customers, insurance adjusters (ie. the people he fights towards in court) and rival attorneys.
Ingredients
Topping:
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp green onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 4-6 cloves garlic, crushed
- Dash of Tabasco
- 4 halibut filets (~1" thick)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450. Season halibut with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice. location filets in a baking dish. Bake for 6 minutes.
- mix all topping elements together. eliminate halibut from oven and spread Parmesan mixture over pinnacle and sides of fish. flip oven to broil and cook dinner for two-three mins, until the tops are gently browned. Serve right now with rice and veggies.
