Monster Cookies
I've actually published this direction on my blog before way backmost when. But this Yuletide Cook serial retributive wouldn't be the synoptical without my Grandma's foetus cookies making an attending. And they needed a slight makeover anyway. Red and avaritia look saintly on these cookies, don'tcha opine?
My Granny has been making this variation cookie direction for our holidays e'er since I can cite, and this is my all reading challenger recipe. I've never eaten a chewier, much tike butter-y monster cookie than these.
In my collection, it is truly a perfect instruction!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1-1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 4-1/2 c. old fashioned oats
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 package plain M&Ms
- 2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat together the peanut butter and butter until smooth and combined.
- Beat in the brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix in between each addition.
- Mix in the corn syrup and vanilla.
- Mix in the baking soda, oats, and salt. Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips. The dough will be sticky, but that's okay!
- Scoop cookie dough (about 2tbsp scoops) onto a parchment or silicone lined baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes, until the edges look set and golden, but the top is not brown.
