CHICKEN LO MEIN RECIPES

As you realize i am absolutely obsessed on clean dinner recipes.  One pan meals are type of my thing.  Cheeseburger Macaroni Skillet is on regular rotation around here. It simply can be the primary requested meal by using my son.

I was paging thru my Cooking mild some months ago and noticed a Lo Mein recipe that had masses of veggies and tofu in it. i am no longer a massive tofu fan, so I concept I may want to use chook as a substitute. however it was so easy, I simply needed to attempt it.

CHICKEN LO MEIN RECIPES

Ingredients
Chicken

  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 2 Tbls ginger , grated
  • 1 Tbls canola oil
  • 2 Tbls soy sauce
  • 1 pound chicken breasts , cut into thin strips

Veggies

  • 1 1/2 cup napa cabbage , finely shredded
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots
  • 1 (8 oz) mushrooms, thinly sliced (baby bellas or shittake)
  • 1 small onion , finely choped

Sauce

  • 1 Tbls sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 12 oz pasta , cooked according to package directions.
  • 1 tsp brown sugar


Instructions

  1. In a huge skillet warmth oil over high heat. add hen, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. prepare dinner for four-5 mins till fowl is browned. eliminate from pan, go away any liquid or oil in the pan.
  2. add mushrooms and onions to the and pan and cook dinner for 3-four minutes until the onions are soft and the mushrooms begin to brown. mix inside the cabbage and carrots - cook dinner for three minutes.
  3. meanwhile whisk together the substances for the sauce. Pour over veggie combination and bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  4. add hen returned to the pan. blend until the whole lot is nicely coated and the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Toss with cooked pasta.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions to serve.
