I’m satisfied that in a single day oats are the gateway drug to healthful meals. once I first began dabbling with the idea of cleansing up my weight-reduction plan, shifting my breakfast from fruit loops to oatmeal appeared like an easy-enough transition. And oatmeal which you don’t even need to prepare dinner?
Over the years my morning oats have made quite the transformation. They started off pretty primary with only a few bananas and nuts before I dove into some crazier flavors like this mocha model or this pumpkin spice latte version. Likewise, my in a single day oats picture styling has seemed to have gotten a bit fancier…are you able to blame me.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 large, ripe banana, mashed
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (+ more for adding in morning)
- optional: added maple syrup or honey for extra sweetness
INSTRUCTIONS
- To an hermetic container or mason jar add your mashed banana, rolled oats, chia seeds and toasted walnuts.
- Pinnacle with almond milk, maple syrup + introduced sweetener (if the use of) and stir.
- Near top and give it an awesome shake to ensure the whole thing is well-mixed.
- Region in the fridge overnight or for as a minimum 6 hours.
- In the morning add additional almond milk to thin out (if favored) and pinnacle with additional sliced banana and chopped walnuts.
