This submit is subsidized with the aid of Cheerios. thank you for assisting the manufacturers that make Dinner on the Zoo viable!

we have without a doubt been enjoying summer thus far – plenty of time within the pool, on the park, we went to the zoo this week, and lots of time has been spent simply hanging out. Now that we don’t need to rush out of the house in the morning, I’ve been taking the time to make extra complicated breakfasts. I got here up with the idea for these breakfast sundaes on a whim, and allow me say, they’ve been a big hit! great of all, you may get the children concerned within the advent of these fun little treats.

This recipe starts offevolved with waffle cone bowls. these bowls are sold with the normal ice cream cones at most grocery stores. The waffle cone bowls are filled with layers of chopped fruit, Greek yogurt and our favourite Cheerios™ cereal. I purchase my Cheerios cereal at Walmart, they continually have a great choice of all of the one of a kind flavors.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt I used vanilla
  • 3/4 cup Cheerios cereal divided use
  • 4 waffle cone bowls
  • 1/2 cup chopped fruit (I used strawberries blueberries and banana)
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
  • 4 strawberry halves for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sprinkles
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Divide the chopped fruit flippantly among the bottoms of the waffle bowls. top the fruit with 2 tablespoons of Cheerios and then upload 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt over the cereal.
  2. Sprinkle the remaining Cheerios, mini chocolate chips, almonds, and sprinkles over the tops of each waffle bowl.
  3. Garnish every bowl with a strawberry half and serve right now.
